EBP Episode 69: Katherine's Final Episode

This is such a bittersweet episode. Summer of 2019, I listened to a podcast episode where Katherine was a guest and she talked about one day wanting to start a podcast. I, also, had dreams of starting a podcast myself and thought how fun for us to do one together. I sent Katherine a text that evening..."So, maybe this is crazy but what if we started a podcast together?

"She was instantly onboard and together, we got so excited. The Embracing Balance Podcast was born just a few months later in October of 2019. Since then we've done 69 episodes together. We've had so much happen in both of our lives and the podcast has been that special place where we get to hang out and share life together all while providing you with empowering messages and education on trusting your body (and self), building confidence, breaking free from perfection, finding real health, and so much more.

A few weeks ago, Katherine and I had an episode planned and before we started recording she shared that she needed to talk to me about something.

She shared that she felt she needed to let go of the podcast.

My heart sunk.

Of course I was (and am) so sad but I know from the bottom of my heart that this is the absolute best decision for Katherine.

We talk so much here on the podcast about trusting yourself, listening to your body, doing the hard thing. And by Katherine letting go of the podcast she is living out all of these things.

Sometimes we have to choose to let go of something (even really good things) in order to make space for something else in our lives. And I'm so excited for Katherine to discover more of what that is for her!

Have no fear, though! The Embracing Balance Podcast will continue! I'm excited to continue on sharing with you and encouraging you each and every week through more solo teaching-style episodes as well as through bringing on more experts to keep the conversation going on what REAL health and REAL balance looks like. If you have an episode idea (something you'd like me to dive into) or a guest you'd like to hear from please share!

Please do keep up with Katherine! She's a wealth of inspiration on trusting your intuition and following your passions. If you don't already follow her on Instagram, you can find her HERE!

Thank you for walking this journey with us, and now with me! I hope you're as excited as I am about what's to come!
