February Coffee Date

Well, hey there! It's been a minute since writing one of these posts. I just couldn't let another month go by without checking in with you and giving you some fun updates :) I so enjoy writing these posts...I hope you enjoy reading them!So a lot going on this month. It's baby boy's debut month! I woke up this morning all excited because he's DEFINITELY coming this month. Anytime between now and 2 weeks or so we'll see his cute little face! I actually had a dream that I saw his face the other night. And he had a head full of hair. God knows I've had enough heartburn for the old wives tale if that one's true.Ok, where to start...

PREGNANCY UPDATE

Pregnancy is going well. I'm super tired lately. Like majorly tired! I finished my last day of my nursing job this week which is probably good because hardly a day goes by where I don't need to take a little lay-down time in the afternoon. And it's an interesting tired feeling...it's not that I'm sleepy tired, though I definitely am sometimes. It's sleepy tired plus just a major fatigue in my muscles. This seems normal though, right? Lol. Baby's just getting heavy and hard to lug around everywhere all the time. Paul jokes about me needing to let him take a turn carrying the baby. Well, Paul, you know I'd love to share him with you sometimes. That'd be nice!Has baby dropped? Hmmm, I don't think so. Maybe? My heartburn isn't as bad this past week so that's probably a good sign. He's doing his regular wiggles and rolls all over my belly. It feels like he's ready to come any day now and that he's getting sick of being so cramped in this small space.Recent cravings...smoothies. And Klondike bars. And this amazing oatmeal I've been making with butter, dates, and cinnamon on top! It's amazing! Did you know that some studies have shown that dates can help with inducing labor and with a fast labor? I'll take all of those tricks right now, thank you! So I'm fitting in 3-4 Medjool dates a day in different ways.

WHAT I'M CURRENTLY READING

Well, Paul got me a Kindle for Christmas which I've been LOVING! I never thought I'd be an e-reader type. But I just love that I can fit it easily in my purse and it has lots of books on it that I can choose from and switch between. So, I'm actually currently in between quite a few books.I'm reading Priscilla Shirer's Discerning the Voice of God, Brene Brown's Gifts of Imperfection, and my friend Aubrey's book called Grace, Food, and Everything In Between

ONE THING I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT RIGHT NOW...

Probably leggings and sweatshirts/sweaters. Pants are so uncomfortable right now. I'll be in leggings for the foreseeable future, it looks like. Well, that's all I got for ya! Thanks for reading :)Is there anything else you'd like to know that I haven't shared?
